Mailchimp is an email marketing platform founded in Atlanta in 2001 and owned by Intuit since 2021. It covers email campaigns, marketing automation flows, landing pages, pop-up forms, audience segmentation and reporting, with more than 300 integrations and an SMS add-on for paid plans in select countries.
Pricing depends on the plan and your contact count. The Free plan allows 250 contacts and 500 emails a month (250 a day), with one seat, no scheduling and Mailchimp branding. Essentials starts at $13 a month for 500 contacts, Standard at $20 for 500 contacts and Premium at $350 for 10,000 contacts. Paid plans bill overages when you pass your contact or send limit, and unsubscribed and non-subscribed contacts count toward your contact total. Automation grows by plan: Essentials flows allow up to 4 steps, while Standard and Premium allow branching flows of up to 200 steps.
