Privacy policy

This page explains what happens to your data when you visit knockingweb.com. The short version: we don't ask for personal information, we don't set cookies, and we don't sell data.

What we collect

We don't run accounts, comments, newsletters or contact forms, so we never ask for your name, email address or payment details.

Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies or other storage on your device and doesn't build a profile of you. It records things like the page you viewed, the site that sent you, your browser type and your country. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to it.

Technical data. The site runs on Cloudflare, which receives your IP address and basic request details, such as the page you asked for and your browser, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. For example, it limits how often one address can follow our links to vendors. We keep short-lived logs of requests and errors to fix problems.

Cookies

Knocking Web doesn't set cookies or store anything in your browser. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it has to check whether a visitor is a bot.

Links to vendors

Our "Try …" buttons go through a knockingweb.com/go/ address to the vendor's website. Once you arrive there, the vendor or its affiliate program may set cookies to credit us for the referral, and their privacy policies apply on their sites.

Images and other content

Apart from Cloudflare's analytics script, everything on our pages, including images and screenshots, comes from our own domains (knockingweb.com and media.knockingweb.com). We don't show ads or embed videos or social media widgets.

Children

Knocking Web is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Because we don't keep personal information that identifies you, there is usually nothing for us to show, correct or delete. If you have a question or a request, including one under California or other US state privacy laws, email team@knockingweb.com. We don't sell or share personal information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data, we'll update this page. The date at the bottom of the page shows when it last changed.
