Affiliate disclosure
Knocking Web is free to read. We pay for it partly through affiliate links: if you click one and then buy, the vendor may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way.
Which links are affiliate links
The "Try …" buttons on our comparison and tool pages go through a knockingweb.com/go/ address to the vendor's site. When we have an affiliate agreement with that vendor, the button uses our affiliate link; otherwise it goes straight to the vendor's own website. Every page with these buttons carries a short note saying so.
What it doesn't change
- Commissions never affect which tools we review, how we rank them or what our verdicts say.
- Vendors can't pay to be included, ranked higher or reviewed more kindly.
- Tools without an affiliate program are reviewed the same way and can be our top pick.
- Our method is the same for every tool: see how we rate.
Free access
We usually test free plans or plans we pay for ourselves. If a vendor ever gives us free access to a paid plan for testing, we'll say so on the comparison.
