Webflow is a hosted visual website builder that got its start in 2013. Its Designer starts from a blank canvas: you drag in HTML elements, build flexbox and grid layouts and style every element, or begin from one of 7,000+ free and premium templates or an AI prompt. Hosting with SSL and a global CDN comes with every paid Site plan, and the free Starter plan publishes to a webflow.io address with 2 static pages.
Site plans cost $15 (Basic) and $25 (Premium) per month billed yearly, or $25 and $39 month to month. Basic has no CMS; Premium adds 20,000 CMS items, site search and code components. Custom code works on every paid Site plan. Native checkout needs an Ecommerce Site plan instead, from $29 a month billed yearly, with a 2% transaction fee on Standard. Webflow retired its native memberships (User Accounts) in January 2026.

- No native memberships since User Accounts was retired on January 29, 2026
- Code export needs a paid Workspace plan and leaves out dynamic CMS content (items and pages)
