Speechify started as a text-to-speech reader app. Speechify Studio, the part that covers AI video and voice, is a subscription separate from the reader, and the developer API is billed separately again; the plans and features listed here are Studio's. Studio combines a voiceover editor with 1,000+ AI voices in 60+ languages, a dubbing studio, a voice changer, auto captions and AI avatars, with control over pauses, pitch, speed and pronunciation, and emotions on supported voices. Generation draws on Studio credits: a second of voiceover costs 1 credit, dubbing 3 and avatar video 30. Studio Starter costs $100 a year for 86,400 credits and adds commercial rights and stock media; Studio Creator costs $300 a year for 345,600. The free plan lets you try the editor but not download. Self-serve voice cloning comes with the API's paid plans, from $10 a month.

- Avatar video uses 30 credits a second, so Studio Starter's 86,400 credits a year cover about 48 minutes of it
- Studio is a separate subscription from the reader app, and the developer API is billed separately again
