Hetzner is a German hosting company founded in 1997 and based in Gunzenhausen. Hetzner Cloud rents virtual servers in Falkenstein, Nuremberg and Helsinki, in Ashburn, Virginia and Hillsboro, Oregon, and in Singapore. Servers are billed by the hour up to a monthly price cap, and a public IPv4 address adds $0.60 a month.
There are three plans. Cost-Optimized starts at $6.49 a month but runs only in Germany and Finland, and its servers were listed as not available on October 19, 2026. Regular Performance uses shared AMD vCPUs, from $7.49 in Europe and $20.49 in the US. General Purpose has dedicated vCPUs from $50.49 in Europe and $50.99 in the US.
