ElevenLabs is an AI audio company founded in 2022, focused mainly on generative audio such as text to speech and voice cloning. Its ElevenCreative app covers speech generation in 74 languages, instant and professional voice cloning, speech to text, dubbing, sound effects and music, plus Studio, an editor for audiobooks, podcasts and narrated videos with a timeline and one-click captions. Paid plans add video generation from text or images through third-party models such as Veo, Sora and Kling, with lip-sync for talking videos. Every plan draws on one shared credit pool: Free gives 10,000 credits a month, Starter costs $6 a month and adds a commercial license and instant voice cloning, and Creator at $22 adds professional voice cloning. Developers can reach the same models through a pay-as-you-go API.
Best for
Creators, podcasters and developers who need AI voiceovers, cloned voices or dubbing, and who are happy to build visuals in another tool or with ElevenLabs' video generation on paid plans.

- Credit costs vary by product (dubbing uses 2,000 to 10,000 credits per minute), so budgeting takes some planning
- Shared workspace seats start with the $299-a-month Scale plan
