Carrd is a hosted builder for one-page websites. It began as a side project by its creator, AJ, and launched in March 2016. You start from a template or a blank page and stack elements such as text, images, buttons, galleries and tables; sections can simulate several pages on one site. The free Basic plan allows up to 3 sites per account on .carrd.co addresses, with Carrd branding and at most 50 elements per site.
Pro plans are billed by the year only: Pro Lite costs $9, Pro Standard $19 and Pro Plus $49, and higher-priced versions of each allow more sites. Pro Lite removes the branding and the element limit. Pro Standard adds custom domains, forms, widgets and code embeds. Pro Plus adds custom forms, Stripe payment forms, redirects, password protection and site downloads.
Best for
Individuals and small projects that need a personal profile, a landing page or an email signup page and prefer one yearly payment (from $9, or $19 with custom domains and forms) to a monthly fee.

- Custom domains start at Pro Standard; Pro Lite publishes only to Carrd addresses such as .crd.co
- Yearly billing only, and Carrd's terms say it is not required to give refunds
